REISSUE of deep Turkish folk album with arrangements by famous bass player François Rabbath -born in Syria-, an important actor on the French Jazz scene since the 70's -who's also playing Saz on this album. First track is a great instrumental in the same vein as Henri Texier's works on his 'Varech' and 'Amir' LPs. Songs written by Erdem Buri and dedicated to the poet Nazim Hikmet interpreted by Turkish singer Tülay German. French recording originally made in 1981 (with a different cover design). Remastered reissue on 180g vinyl with insert including lyrics in Turkish and English. RECOMMENDED
