Exceptional tape from Sayed Khalifa, one of Sudan's most revered musical figures. Renowned for his 1950s mega-hit "Mambo Al Sudani"—a sensation across Africa—he was also among the first Sudanese singers formally trained in music theory.
His work has been celebrated in modern compilations, including Ostinato Records' "Two Niles to Sing a Melody: The Violins and Synths of Sudan". This tape showcases beautiful modern Sudanese popular music, with some tracks featuring wind instruments and drum kits.

This is a deadstock copy, unsealed only for verification.
