Jean Schwarz was a member of Pierre Schaeffer's GRM and an ethnomusicologist. He has composed for the shows of Carolyn Carlson, Maguy Marin, Petrika Ionesco, for the cinema: the films of J.-L. Godard, S. Moati, G. Blain, A. Resnais, A. Cavalier... and has collaborated with many jazz musicians. This rare avant-garde music was created for Pierre Sala's play Maison Rouge (1980). The music that completes this edition was written for the following productions: “Un enfant dans la foule” by Gérard Blain (1976) “Louis Rossel et la commune de Paris” by Serge Moati (1977) “Wheels” ballet by Carolyn Carlson (1979)“Round About Now” ballet by Larrio Ekson and Carolyn Carlson (1979).
