Along with the Poly-Rythmo orchestra, Ignace De Souza's Black Santiagos were a major Beninese band of the 60's and 70's. They were able to play many different styles, the regional and local rhtyhms like Agbadja or Cavacha but also Soukous,Rumba, Afro-Cuban, Afrobeat... This great 70's album released on Ivorian label Badmos is a good example of their versatility and includes mostly danceable tracks. Solid VG sleeve, has some shelf wear, stains at back but still in nice condition considering the fragile thin paper. Vinyl is shiny, playsgreatly except for a few pops. Nice copy!
