"Helmed by Loy Ehrlich, French multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, this group was influenced by contemporary Western genres at the time such as blues, reggae and jazz but put their own tropical spice on top with local sega and maloya sonorities blended in with lyrics written in Creole. Originally released in 1982, this LP was followed by a string of concerts around the island before Carrousel ceased its activities.
