Etat général : Original occasion Format : 45T x 1 Etat pochette / disque : NA / VG+ Label : cbs Année : 1970 Numéro / Pays de pressage : SSC.1096 - South.Africa
Great 2-sider 7inch released in South Africa only. Features a swinging Bossa Jazz cover of the Powell / De Moraes classic and a solid hammond-jazz dancer by singer Hazel Scott. Not to be confused with the eponymous American singer, Mrs Scott was born in the UK before she moved to Zimbabwe as a kid and met a trio of Brazilian musicians. She moved to Brazil in 1971 and returned to South Africa before retiring in the UK. She only recorded a few singles and an album, -with band members variations- as Ipanema 5 and Braza Brasil -all of them being hard-to-find collectables!
Record has surface wear, soft scuffs, plays with light background noise, a few pops but without skipping. Solid VG+ copy of this rare item!
