Etat général : Original occasion Format : 33T Etat pochette / disque : VG+ / VG- Label : hit parade Année : 70s Numéro / Pays de pressage : HPR.52 - France
Early release by Eugène Mona, great flutist, poet and singer from Martinique island. Traditional Biguine and Bélè music but often with conscious lyrics. All-time favorite including the great title track, a nice definition of the Creole blues they called 'negro' at the time, referencing to gospel and blues. Sleeve shows some humidity stains at back, otherwise pretty clean. Vinyl has many scuffs, plays with crackling (also due to low pressing quality) and some pops (bubbles). Still an enjoyable copy!
