Etat général : Original occasion Format : 45T x 1 Etat pochette / disque : VG++ / VG+ Label : l.a. aux ecoutes Année : 70's Numéro / Pays de pressage : LA32 - Benin
Very rare 7inch by singer Blucky D'Almeida who has recorded with main artists from 70's Benin Poly-Rythmo and El Rego is accompanied here by another famous orchestra, the Black Santiago. Both songs are in French and have special rhythms and lyrics ! 'On side A the outstanding track 'Les Nanes" -described as a 'jerk' on label- is similar to James Brown's popcorn with funky guitar, R&B rhtyhm and horn section, plus an amazing organ solo. Blucky is yelling and screaming about 'Les Nanes', warning us : you have to resist to the appeal of these trendy young blond girls! Side B has Entente Africaine (African unity), a 'Pachanga' with more conscious lyrics about the aftermath of independence and pan-Africanism.
Shiny record ! Side A plays nicely, close to EX while side B is quite noisy (pressing default?). Sleeve just shows minimum yellowing / aging. Solid condition for this rare item!
