Popular Congolese Rumba band Les Mangelepa's ‘Nyako Konya' -originally released in 1979- is a 9 minutes hypnotic jam that'll eventually become one of their biggest success, earning them a gold record and international acclaim throughout Africa and beyond. The original version is featured here -carefully remastered- together with three remixes: French House and Disco producer Yuksek and his wall of sound skills, Netherlands' world famous studio maverick Umoja delivering a space dub Lee Scratch Perry style, and last but not least, the trademarked syncopated stabs of Brooklyn's finest Uproot Andy.
