'Petit imprudent' is the track that inspired Zao's famous hit 'Ancien Combattant' some decades later. Soumaoro (here spelled 'Soumahoro') was a member of L'Eclipse de l'I.J.A. - whose album 'Le Tioko-Tioko was recently reissued and of Les Ambassadeurs. He never made a real musical career before the 90s -but can be compared to songwriters like Boubacar Traore or Victor Démé. The sleeve is clean with light ring wear and a shop stamp at back. The single was released wether with various generic Safi-Deen covers and sometimes with this rare printed sleeve. Record is shiny with some light scuffs but it has some deeper marks on track A1 producing some serious clicking (soundclip). Still an enjoyable copy and hard to find!
Tracklist A1 Petit Imprudent A2 Safi (Safiatou) Toi Que J´aime B1 L´amour A Perdu Son Sens B2 Ndiaya Ngne Mogo
