Rare and cult Lebanese first (?) album by the Bandaly family (also spelled Bendaly), a band consisting of Edward Bandaly and his twelve children ! They've created a unique mix of 'modern' Egyptian sound in Baligh Hamdi or Elias Rahbani style, incorporating some western instruments (guitars, keyboard) with traditional oud, flute, strings and percussions. Also by using different lead singers and children chorus they've created some very catchy 'oriental pop' numbers. There are also some deeper tracks on the album, like the moving song Mawal Hijazi, an amazing English sung folk ballad.
The sleeve shows aging and dirt but no major defaults. Record has soft scuffs, no deep marks but some tracks are a bit crackly (A5, B1, B4), check the soundclips from actual vinyl. Still a nice VG+ copy!!
