A very nice Afro-soul, pop-infused album from Kenneth Komtanghi Jr., a Cameroonian musician from the English-speaking regions of the country (near Nigeria).

Kenneth has been actively involved in his country's cultural scene: he contributed to several independent film productions and created cover art for Claude Techemeni's Ebolo Fia Production. This is how he met Vincent Ndoumbe, one of the key figures behind Essimo'oh Production, the label that released this record. Sadly, we recently learned of Vincent's passing. He was a significant figure in Cameroon's cultural landscape.

The album was recorded in Douala in 1991 with a mix of Cameroonian and Nigerian musicians but was never commercialized, making it a rare gem—until now. We're thrilled to offer clean copies at a fair price.

At the crossroads of Francis Bebey and Bony Bikaye, this is the kind of unique and eclectic sound we truly love!

Deadstock copies. Records are unplayed but may have light surface noise, audible during quieter moments.
Covers are in solid VG condition. Most show signs of humidity damage (waviness) and have some shelf wear on the spines and corners.
