All-time classic album by the legendary Senegalese band Number One with former members of Star Band De Dakar. This is a good example of the golden age of modern Senegalese music, as they were merging traditional rhythms and sabar percussions with horn section and psychedelic guitars. Also there was still a predominent latin influence in their sound -as their rendition of the Arsenio Rodriguez Afro-Cuban classic 'Vaya Pa' Monte' 'Guajira Ven' states.
Strong VG+ cover has some seam wear, a stamp at back. Small name written on labels. Clean record but it's a bit shady, which causes some surface noise at start of side B. Still in solid condition!
NB: There may be some confusion as different variations of these '78' albums exist, with various cat. number / label / sleeve.
This pressing has Vol.1 on cover but Vol.2 on labels. Also labels state sides C et D instead of A/B. Anyway, titles on cover and record match, which is the most important thing about it!
