Details / Info

Rare compilation LP released on the occasion of the 11th 'Festival De La Jeunesse Et Des Etudiants' in 1978 to celebrate the cultural and political exchange among Guinea and Cuba. This live session (really? not sure) features famous Cuban orchestras as the Aragon, and Includes four tracks by the Bembeya Jazz, of which two seem to be exclusive to this release (?): 'Ne Fais Pas De Sacrifice' and the bluesy instrumental 'Amitié' showing lead guitarist Sekou Diabate's talent.
Thin paper sleeve shows some edge wear and light ring wear but still looks nice. Record has light hairlines but plays like a weak VG+/VG copy producing important surface noise and some clicks here and there, mostly due to the low pressing quality.
